Made At NYPL

Client: The New York Public Library
Role: Lead Designer (HvADesign)
Location: New York, NY
Exhibition Date: Oct 2019–Jul 2020

The Made at NYPL exhibition marked the 125th anniversary of the New York Public Library's founding. To celebrate the occasion, the exhibit showcased a variety of prestigious works that were all created using the Library's extensive collection. The curation of the exhibit illustrated the breadth and depth of the Library's influence over time and geography.

As the lead designer, I created the overall brand for the exhibition including the typographic treatment, color palette, custom case design, and material selection. I also collaborated with the NYPL exhibition team and curators on the gallery layout and installation.
