Love & Resistance:
Stonewall At 50

Client: The New York Public Library
Role: Lead Designer (HvADesign)
Location: New York, NY
Exhibition Date: Feb 2019–Jul 2019

The New York Public Library's Love & Resistance: Stonewall at 50 paid tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. The exhibition showcased the work of Kay Tobin Lahusen and Diana Davies as they documented the LGBTQ movement that was energized by the riots in 1969. The exhibition was curated by Jason Baumann and hosted by NYPL.

As the lead designer, I created the overall brand of the exhibition including the photographic and typographic treatment, frame selection, neon signage, and all production files. I also collaborated with the NYPL exhibition team and curators on the gallery layout and installation.
